Person shot in East Toledo identified
Shooting reported in 1100 block of Delence Street.

At least one person was shot Tuesday in East Toledo, authorities said.
At about 5:25 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Delence Street near East Broadway and found Shamar Thompson, 19, with two gunshot wounds to his abdomen. He was taken by Life Squad to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police records.
The investigation is ongoing.
