Recently released inspection reports of Lucas County food-service operations.

Violations:

The Spot at Fallen Timbers, 3100 Main, Maumee, inspected July 19.

● The facility did not have a food-preparation sink with appropriate drain plumbing for washing its strawberries.

Campus Pollyeyes Toledo, 3303 Dorr, inspected July 31.

● Food-contact surfaces were not being washed and sanitized often enough.

● Chlorine bleach used to sanitize surfaces was too strong.

● Portioned ranch dressing sitting out was holding at an unsafe temperature.

● Sauces and dressings holding on a time basis instead of temperature were not time marked.

China King, 1083 Pray, Waterville, inspected Aug. 6.

● The can opener’s cutting surface was dirty with buildup.

● Cooked chicken and egg rolls in the walk-in cooler lacked required date marks.

● Gnats were present near bulk food storage bins in the back area.
