Rogers rolls over Woodward; Start stays unbeaten with win over Bowsher

Unique Washington had 17 points as Scott defeated Waite 59-30 in a girls basketball City League game on Wednesday night.

Maquaia Hudgins had 13 points for the Bulldogs (2-1, 1-1).

Kerena Merriweather lead Waite (0-4, 0-1) with 13 points.

ROGERS 62, WOODWARD 6

Four players posted double figures in scoring as Rogers defeated Woodward in City league action.

Anastacia Morgan paced the Rams (2-1, 1-1) with 17 points.

She was followed by Winter Richburg (15), Logan Love (10) and Diamond Ezell (10).

Heavenly Brown led Woodward with four points.

START 57, BOWSHER 38

Start improved to 4-0 and 2-0 in City League play, as the Spartans took down Bowsher on the road.

Alasia Easley scored 17 points to lead Start. Sineere Nicholson pitched in 13 points.

Aiyanna String led Bowsher (3-1, 1-1) with 12 points, and Conraya Leach scored 8 for the Rebels.
