Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and current Mets minor leaguer is now a married man.

Tebow reportedly wed 2017 Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in Cape Town, South Africa, about a year after getting engaged, People reported.

It’s unclear what day the ceremony took place, but Tebow shared a photo and video with the pageant winner over the weekend from what appeared to be a rehearsal dinner.

Shortly before the wedding at the La Paris Estate, Tebow, 32, told People that he wanted his vows to be “perfect.”

“I’m leaving in the traditional things like ‘till death do us part,’ but I’m also adding some of my own things to it,” Tebow told the magazine.

Nel-Peters, 24, is from South Africa. Tebow confirmed to ESPN in July 2018 that he and the former Miss South Africa were dating.

About 260 people attended the wedding, where Nel-Peters wore a custom gown from David’s Bridal.

“We wanted to look back at the wedding and see that it was intimate, elegant, and traditional,” she told People ahead of the wedding. “We definitely wanted it to be something that we could look back on and know that nothing was dated. We want to remember this day for the rest of our lives.”

Tebow rose to immense fame as the college quarterback of the Florida Gators, with whom he won a pair of national championships and a Heisman Trophy during his four seasons there from 2006 to 2009. He was a first-round NFL draft pick by the Denver Broncos in 2010 and spent time with four teams, including the Jets in 2012.
