FINDLAY — A lone robber took an undisclosed amount of cash during a stick-up early Saturday afternoon at a Findlay bank branch, city police reported.

The man walked into the Chase branch at 1917 Tiffin Ave., displayed a handgun, and demanded money, employees told officers summoned to the bank at 12:29 p.m. He was last seen running toward the southwest through nearby parking lots, according to a police statement.

The robber was described as a skinny white male in his mid-to-late 20s, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and a black face mask.

No one was injured in the robbery, after which police unsuccessfully canvassed the nearby area.
