Toledo's public pools to close end of day Sunday

The city of Toledo’s six public pools and the Savage Park splash pad will close for the season on Sunday.
Roosevelt Pool, 910 Dorr St.; Navarre Pool, 1001 White St.; Pickford Pool, 3000 Medford Dr.; Wilson Pool, 3253 Otto St.; Jamie Farr Pool, 2140 N. Summit St.; and Willys Pool, 1375 Hillcrest Ave., will be open with normal hours through Sunday, after which they will close.
Pool admission is $1 for children 12 and under, and $2 for those 13 and older.
Four of the six city pools opened for the season June 8. The Jamie Farr Pool’s opening was delayed until June 19 and the Willys Pool’s opening was delayed until June 29 because of mechanical issues.
The Promenade Park splash pad will remain open until Sept. 29.
